I have a 1959 GMC 3100 Apache truck for sale. This truck is the real deal, full build Restomod. It has a brand new fully CAD designed chassis for road reliability and handling. It was designed and built in house here at Resto Motors to ensure the highest quality. The chassis has A-arm front suspension and a 3 link rear suspension with QA1 single adjustable coil overs. For brakes, we installed 13 inch cross drilled and slotted rotors with 4 piston Wilwood calipers up front and kept the drums on the stock rear end. A Wilwood dual master cylinder was installed, too. The chassis was designed for Accuair air ride to BOLT ON and LAY BODY. It was set up with brand new bushing and MOOG bearings. We put a Chevy 5.3l Engine out of a wrecked silverado in for a power plant. the 5.3 has about 100k on it but still runs like a champ!! It has been fully tested and checked over to ensure no issues and that it ran great before being installed in the truck. Along with the 5.3, we put the correct 4l60e in the truck with 12k miles on it so it truly drives like a dream and shifts smoothly. This package gives the truck some serious get up and go due to the weight reduction of the new chassis and suspension. An aluminum Griffin radiator was added to keep everything cool. For wheels, we used 22 inch steel smoothie's and wrapped them in Nitto Invo 265/30-22 tires. These wheels definitely compliment the rustic look and patina left on the body. the truck was also set up with power steering and designed for quick cornering. For the body, most of the major rust was addressed but it still HAS rust all over the truck. The rust that was addressed were the cab corners and some portions of the fenders. A custom rear bumper was built to match the truck a little better, too. The bed floor was raised in anticipation for the truck to get air ride one day. After we raised the floor we put down a nice Rustic Walnut wood for the floor and added hand built wheel tubs tubs and patina'd them to match the rest of the truck. A hidden gas door was also cut into the wood. Just lift the door and there is aluminum fuel cell ready to fill. The interior was redone with a black carpet and bucket seats with a walnut steering wheel installed to match the bed. A hand machined and knurled shifter was installed in the truck. We shaved the stock radio out of the dash and a Bluetooth amplifier with pioneer speakers that were hidden behind the seats to give a nice and clean look along with the modern Bluetooth technology. Simply link your phone or any Bluetooth device and have full control of the radio at your finger tips. For gauges, we had a custom set of dual 4 1/2 in gauge pods built from Speedhut. These gauges are GPS driven have a multitude of cool features such as 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times, clock, top speed recording, etc. These were installed in a new bead-rolled dash panel.
