QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK !!
miles might be a bit higher as i do drive the truck on occasion, and it is supossed to snow this week !
I am offering for sale, for the first time, my 2000 GMC K 3500 4x4 regular cab 1 ton truck, with a brand new Western pro plow UltraMount series 2 snow plow!!
The truck is a heavy duty 1 ton
5.7L 350 fuel injected engine.
I was told the motor was replaced with a General Motors crate motor somewhere along the line??
Have no paperwork , so it is a guess. runs good, no smoke, no drips, no odd noises, good oil pressure, doesn't overheat.
4 speed automatic transmission
manual windows and door locks
power steering and brakes
no a/c could be added if you needed it I guess
good heat / defrost
vinyl floor cover . no carpet to get trashed
floor shift transfer case, not the more fragile electric shift on the dash
I had dual batteries installed, as previous owner cut the dual battery harness out of the truck, and the battery was sub par.

the plow was purchased and installed in late August, and has not plowed snow as yet. 8 foot steel Ultra Mount series 2 Pro plow, with the best NIGHTHAWK Halogen headlamps and the optional back drag blade installed too
hand held control to operate the plow too !
I am willing to sell the truck without the plow if you do not need the snow plow. this plow is by far, the most simple and easy plow to remove and reconnect to the truck. my previous plow was a western uni-mount plow, and before that I had a Boss plow on a super duty Ford, and this plow is so sweet.
I am disabled, and becoming more so, and i purchased this very expensive plow to help me, but i have pretty much regressed even more and lost interest
I plow our city 2 double car driveways, and 6 or 7 neighbors at no charge. not fast or rough like some contractors end up doing. my pocket gets no fatter by rushing around and possibly wrecking equipment.
The truck runs and rides like a 1 ton, but the seat is comfortable, even with needing cosmetic (sewn) repair
truck main components have no leaks that I am aware of.
The shop that does all my work lists that the steering damper leaks, the ABS unit leaks, oil cooler lines leaking, front axle seals leak... the some day list, as most vehicles have.
With that being said, the cement is dry under the truck... no ocean of fluids on our new concrete .
i was told not to worry about it and nothing was going to come appart. i always give them the green light to fix any and all safety issues.
Selling the truck would not limit this, as i seldom keep anything more than a few months. this truck i have had since December of 2013... this plow is new as of late August 2015
With that being said, the cement is dry under the truck... no ocean of fluids on our new concrete .
I have regular oil changes and transmission services performed.
living in Wisconsin, there is some rust on the truck in the usual GMC places. All can be saved if it bothers you, or replacement parts are available underside, I am sure is scaly or surface rust . no soft spots I've noticed.
as the shop that does all my work tells me, this is the nicest most solid plow truck I have had, and I have had newer models with half the miles. this is a good work truck !!
