GMC 100 Truck (1950)

Price: US $0.99
Up for auction is a 1950 GMC 100 pickup with utility body. To start I'm selling this for my father who bought it at an estate sale about 20 years ago. When he got it, it ran and drove great however it sat outside for a while occasionally being started up and driven around the parking lot about every 2 years. From what he has been told when he bought it was that the utility body was put on the truck shortly after I was purchased and was used everyday as a work truck for the previous owner. The utility body makes this pretty rare being that the body is period correct and you really just don't see them around often. The truck does have all of the parts intact from what I see ad they all have some patina on them. I will say however there is a catch to all of this wonderfulness, the truck does need a lot of TLC it has some rot on the quarters and the utility body, some dents on the front fenders, glass in most windows is cracked, and the interior is in need of repair amongst other things. This I a mechanics special but will be the perfect project for anyone who wants to do a restoration or turn it into their own classic creation. This truck is sold as is and will need to be towed away as it cannot be driven in its current state. The reserve is set low and it is located in Morton, Pa. Message me with any questions that you may have. I will also try to update the pictures to show more of the issues it has.

“The truck did run about 2 years ago so the engine and transmission were good at that time. There is some rot in the quarters and utility body. For the most part it is original and numbers matching and as far as I am aware all parts are in tact.” |
