I am putting my 1986 GMC up for auction. This vehicle has 48, 000 original miles and is in excellent shape. All service records are included and I have the title. It can easily be a show truck or a daily driver.
Vehicle History: This vehicle was purchased by my father-in-law in 1987 with 10, 000 miles on it. Since he worked for the city and had a city vehicle, he did not drive this truck often. He passed it on to me about seven years ago before he passed away and I have been restoring it since that time.
Vehicle Condition: As you can see from the pictures, the truck is beautiful with new paint and new interior. I have tried to keep everything factory original. It runs and drives great and the air conditioner is cold. I keep the truck covered and drive it to work about once a week. I intentionally did not have the bed of the truck painted, however, it is still in excellent shape due to the camper shell my father-in-law kept on it. To finish off the restoration a couple items need to be done, the radio has a short in the speakers which is probably easily fixed. Also, the gas gauge does not go past a quarter of full tank. I have the sending unit to correct it and will give it to the new owner.
I'm selling it to help pay for a vehicle for my daughter that just turned 16.
Payment: A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours and the final balance within 7 days. Payment must be done by cash or cashier's check. Local pick-up only, or buyer arranges and pays for shipping.
