Well here is a rare truck, it has been our shop truck for several years. it started life as a standard work truck manual locks and windows cold a/c v6 and rubber floors, it has been converted to a Denali front end, factory cruise, factory painted flare along with factory splash guards, factory aux lights wiring, 4 speaker Polk dxi audio, dual piston 13 disk brakes front and rear, rugged liner over rail bed liner and rear wheel well liners, cooper st maxx lt255/80r17 on factory chrome wheels, Bose stereo from an Escalade along with power folding side mirrors, 2.5 leveling kit, performance rebuilt 4l60e, firestick cb antenna system with cobra cb, k&n extra duty in the box filer, Lund fiberglass rollpan, acdelco professional plug wires, cap & rotor, acdelco iridium plugs, new water pump and radiator, dual group 78 batteries, cab roof marker lights, hummer h3 hood vent, vortec max emblems and z83 bed decals along with 2014 GMC sierra Denali emblems on tailgate, new lower control arms, deezee slow tailgate drop kit, new Bosch fuel pump, all new evap system and EGR. I'm sure I'm forgetting other items, needless to say this truck has alot of time and money invested. Things that we have that go with it, front Dorman 1.5 swaybar, rear Addco swaybar, Lund fiberglass running boards steps, 6 hi headlight mod with fogs on with either low or high, slip on rocker panels, KYB Monomax shocks, new upper control arms, new oem fuel line from engine back, several pieces of spare interior panels and odds and ends, you will get everything we have.
The truck runs, drives and stops but has some issues, tires were put on in the spring and have about 10k on them, the body looks decent with the bad part (just like all the others) is rusted out rocker panels, the paint is a 5 and details up to a 6 and has dings, scratches and touch up paint throughout. This is and always has been a work truck and used as such. The bed was removed a year ago for the fuel pump replacement and the frame from cab back was painted at that time along with replacing the rear brake line with a prebent replacement from fine lines the bed has rust around wheel wells but the flares and liners cover it all. We also upgraded to all grade 8 1/2 bolts to secure the bed to the frame. There are NO engine lights on, when something was wrong, it was fixed. The mileage is over 500, 000 not that it matters as so much has been replaced but it is a good conversation starter Well my GMC has over a half million miles on it
Known issues:
The biggie at the moment is a return fuel line leak, it was temporarily repaired with a compression fitting to make the truck mobile but does drip and should be fixed. A complete oem fuel line kit is included, the passenger rear upper shock mount and crossmemeber is broken but still attached and should be replaced (they are available right here on eBay) the emergency brake cables are not working and the rear axles brake backer plates were removed to install the Escalade rear dual piston brakes. The engine has the usual 4.3 piston slap at start up and a lifter tick comes and goes. Last month while stopped at a stop sign we got ran into, the Denali composite bumper reinforcement has some damage and the outer cover has some gouges and paint damage and the left foglight is zip tied, the heater blows cold and it needs the shocks installed along with an alignment. The drivers door needs new pins and the headliner needs replaced.
All in, these truck are appreciating like crazy because they are built to last and can be repaired by the every man with parts that are readily available and usually affordable. They are also narrower than the newer trucks and fit into parking spaces. We have no interest in parting this truck out and when the weather warms up we will fix it and keep it another 500k. We are not in any way desperate to sell it. It is sold AS-IS WHERE-IS with no warranty. Clean and clear Ohio paperwork in our name will be provided to the high bidder.
