2000 GMC Fire/Rescue truck.
This is a super rare, fully functioning, NON DE-COMISSIONED, fire chief truck.
(((Please note: being a full functioning firetruck, it can travel free of restriction, and be titled in any state))).
Also rare is that this truck is FULLY LOADED (definitely not common amongst emergency vehicles).
If you are looking for a GREAT truck, bear in mind -- NOTHING gets maintained like a fire/rescue vehicle. This truck was subject to mandated quarterly inspections, and oil changes. That's 4 times/year... even if it didn't even leave the fire hall !!!
That's pretty remarkable but, not all. .
While parked indoors, in the heated fire station, the truck's engine block heater remained plugged in at all times. Also, it had the battery tender plugged in, maintaining the batteries at all times while parked. When a call came in, the truck was unplugged, and absolutely 100% ready to go.
Although fully equipped with all the heavy duty options possible, this particular truck saw relatively light duty usage. Occasionally, it pulled a lightweight trailer with a quad and side-x-side, and sometimes a jetboat. Most of the time though, this truck carried nothing more than blueprints and maps. It was kept impeccably clean.
Among the options this truck has are, heated leather seats with 2 position memory. The canopy is included, along with all the fully-functioning sirens, lights, speakers, and beacons. The roof lights are Chicago style, and the signs are generic. There are also magnets that can cover the FIRE / RESCUE signage, if preferred. There is plenty room and, local descriptions can also be added. In total, there is over $10, 000 in lighting alone!!!
I have placed the reserve at less than the cost of the lighting. Matter of fact, this is not priced more than a regular civilian vehicle.
