1955 GMC 1st Series 100-24 Suburban
I'm supposed to be the 3rd owner
Odometer shows 14, xxx miles probably 114, xxx
Complete tune up has been done and oil and transmission fluid changed
New coil, points, condenser, rotor, cap, plugs, new valve cover and side cover gaskets.
Radiator checked and repaired
Rebuilt Carburetor
Runs great and shifts pretty good
Has all the seats in it. It looks like the front two were reupholstered years ago, but the back two look original.
New gas tank and sending unit a few years ago.
I have some parts that go with it.
It's raining here today, and I will post more pictures in a day or so after the rain.
I would not be worried to get in it and drive it 1000 miles.
Tires are a little old; I would consider replacing with radials later on.
I have a clear Texas title in my name.
It does have some rust and dents, but I'm sure if you were born in 55' you have a few too! I'll get pics of the not so good when the rain quits.
You don't find many this original and unmolested
I have new running board rubber, vent window rubbers, and a factory GMC radio that are included
Also comes with new firewall pad and defrost tubes
