We love the Civic! But we must sell it to buy a small station wagon.
We purchased it in August 2012 from Jones Honda in Lancaster, PA and have used it for in-town and trips, and it has never let us down. It's a Honda!
The layout of the controls, the Economy mode, and the sound system are probably what we appreciate the most. On trips, with care, we've gotten between 44 and 50 MPG!
Maintained faithfully at the suggested intervals by Honda, the mechanics are stellar. Some of the maintenance was done at Firestone in Lancaster.
Take a close look at the pictures, and you'll see that it's a clean vehicle. Never been smoked in. Not garage kept. (If only I had one).
I have endeavored to be fully up front about the exterior. It's got some touched-up areas. I have shown these clearly in the photos. I have more pix, but when they upload, they rotate, and there's no tool for editing them. I can email them if necessary or you have a specific concern.
We live in the city of Lancaster and have had two teen-aged drivers, so there are some dings. Most notably, the driver's side rocker panel had been damaged, repaired, and then scraped again. I made the second repair myself.
There is also a small dent in the hood, as well as some scratches here and there. The plastic bumpers took a few shots. I've pictured all this honestly. If you have questions or desire to see the care, just message me.
KBB places a Private Party value on an excellent Civic of this age and mileage at $11, 000. Since it IS excellent except for the body, I've arrived at my asking price.
If you're looking for a safe, comfortable, fun, low-mileage, cared-for, smooth, and economical car without buying a new one, this is it!
