Description:

Up for sale is my 2002 Honda Civic LX 4-Door sedan, 5-Speed manual transmission. Car just hit 129, 400miles. Mostly highway, driving conservatively I get just about 40mpg. As you can see from the pictures the front bumper has some peeling paint, and a dent on the drivers side front quarter panel. Trunk door has a small dent on it as well but it is not very noticeable (can send you more pictures if you like). The car is solid and runs great, no warning lights. I've owned this car for over 5 years and since it's had 65k on it, never missed an oil change or service, this car has never not started, or left me on the side of the road stranded, reliable as you would expect out of a civic. Most of the major repairs have been done on this car because I was planning on keeping it forever, but ran into an irresistible deal on a new car otherwise I wouldn't have spent all this money to make sure it ran another 200k without issues.
The good
Done within the last 6 months (with receipts):Complete Timing belt kitWater PumpValve Cover GasketSerpentine BeltInspectionFULL exhaust, all the piping and new muffler.exhaust gasketsNew spark plugsbrake system flushOuter tie rod endsWheel alignmentSpring bolts.
The badThe front bumper paint is peeling. And the dent on the quarter panel, as well as a small dent on the trunk door. Along with all the other wear and tear a 13 year old car would have, I think it looks fine, but judge for yourself.***UPDATE*** The Clutch is starting to slip, I was driving the car in New Jersey two days ago and coming up a hill the clutch started to slip, I still drove it back about 80 miles without an issue but it's time for a new clutch. There is an aftermarket panasonic radio in it and the faceplate does not work well, it has an AUX cord that I just plug into my phone and use.Front tires should be changed before the snow hit.The rear springs squeak when going over bumps when it is cold out, but when I had the exhaust done the mechanic said it was fine, take that as a warning. All the belts are new, but sometimes when starting in the cold the belts squeak, if you rev up the engine a little it stops and doesn't come back. Probably just needs to be adjusted.
Like I said, this is a 13 year old civic that has never let me down, this is a great car with most of the major maintenance done, I was planning to put another 200k on it. Please contact me with any questions rlivinsky@gmail.com
