Selling my 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha Wagon with Adventure Package. Final year of Civilian Production. This Alpa is in great condition with just over 67, 300 miles. 6.6 Turbo Diesel Engine with Allison 5 Speed Transmission. This is the one everybody wants.
I've owned this Hummer for over six years and it was treated with care. Always Synthetic fluids through out. I've used this vehicle as a big boy's toy. The only reason I'm selling it I just don't drive it and it's a shame to let it just sit in my garage.
The history of this Hummer is that it was purchased new at Sewell Hummer in Plano, Texas and was immediately exported to Calgary, Alberta, Canada by a rich oilman who also only used it as his toy. In 2006 Hummer Alpha's were in very high demand and they were just not available so you purchased one anywhere you could find one. You needed a title to export it into Canada so the vehicle was Texas titled to then immediately export while still new.
This Hummer is now located in Mesa, Arizona. My family has a winter home in Mesa, Arizona so I recently decided it would be best to ship this Hummer down to Arizona; I then applied for an Arizona title so that the new purchaser could receive a clear title from a USA state and not have to figure out how to import it and get it back into the USA from Canada.
If your reading this listing you know doubt know that AM General only produced 417 enclosed wagons in 2006 model year and of those only 47 were painted Black Diamond. Why AM General named the colour Black Diamond is beyond me as it is really a darker shade of Silver Pewter. This Alpa came with the optional upgraded Off-Road Adventure Package that includes a 12, 000 lb. winch, 17 2pc. Aluminium Wheels and Front and Rear E-Lockers,
This Hummer Alpa also has a number of Predator aftermarket upgrades including a Predator Low Profile Roof Rack, Predator interior Centre Console Storage Rack, Predator Fender Well Storage Racks, Alpha Duramax Raptorq ECM Upgrade and a Hummer H1 RD Locker Box. This Alpha has the factory Catalytic converter still installed. The front windshields are factory heated glass and perfect. No rock chips. Factory owners manual in leather case comes with the truck.
