What I have here is a 1987 Humvee M998, 52k miles.
*100% Street legal, is currently titled in my name, registered for normal use (not antique or classic), Has passed safety inspection. Have all paperwork for proof.
*Not for off road only like the others on here.
*All Necessary modifications have been made to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Standards of the year, again it has passed inspection for road use.
*Is ready to drive home now, I drive it daily so miles will go up.
*Has new top and doors replaced this summer.
*Everything works as it should including the addition of reverse lights that work with the shifter. Rear tail lights assemblies and buckets were replaced with civilian Hummer H-1 counterparts new. I also have the original military lights for the back but they do not pass safety requirements for road use, anyone who says they do is wrong.
*CARC coating paint has chips and peals from normal use, refer to pictures. Its in great condition for the age, with little to no rust on the frame, and the body is fiberglass and aluminum so no worries there. No Dents! Tires are 37's and all in great shape.
*Why pay 20k-27k for one that cannot be used on the road, buy mine it is road legal and ready to go.
Disclaimer: I will not sell this truck over seas period, as a prior military vehicle it is not authorized to leave the United States, so don't ask. You will show me proof you are a U.S. Citizen by I.D., Voter card, or passport before I will sign it over and let you take it. If I dont like you your not getting the truck, I'm not gonna let this truck fall into terrorists hands period, I'm a good judge of character and can read people well. If I decide you are not qualified to own this truck I will refund any and all moneys paid to you and re-list the vehicle. Also, due to many off highway use Humvees trying to be put on the road I am not responsible if your state has a problem with the vehicle. I cannot go through every states laws to ensure compatibility, what I can say is that the truck has a clean and clear Maryland title, Normal use Maryland tags, Passed Maryland Safety inspection for road use, and is insured by USAA all in MY name. Anything outside what I have stated here is not in my control and not my responsibility. If anyone tries to copy my registration or plates for their use and it comes out, you will be charged to the fullest extent the law will allow. For this reason I did not post a pic of my title. There are no warranties expressed or implied, the vin number is a 6 digit number, not what is listed on the ebay system, they would not allow a 6 digit vin, refer to pic of registration for actual vin number.
