This vehicle was originally purchased used with 3000 miles by the present owner. The vehicle was immediately shipped to Mash Motors Inc. in Wichita, Ks for the diesel conversion. I considered several companies we who have completed Diesel Hummer projects, spoke to past customers, visited two of the companies and selected Mash Motors. I insisted that everything appears to be factory and it does. The vehicle has been virtually trouble-free since the conversion.
The Hummer has always been garaged in Vero Beach, Florida, away from Snow and Road Salt. The Engine is a 2008 GM LMM Diesel from a 2008 Chevrolets 2500 which had 7 miles on it) mated to an Allison Automatic Transmission and an on demand, New Process 4 wheel drive Transfer Case with all necessary Accessories, from Radiator to Exhaust System. The fuel economy is 14-17 mpg and it drives marvelously with no rattles or other noise. The exterior of the vehicle has many modification which make it a real head turner. The Body is in perfect shape with the exception of 1 barely visible door ding on the driver’s door which did not break the paint and a tiny stone chip in the windshield, and it has never been smoked in. The interior and exterior are in immaculate condition and the Hummer is always kept inside and is often driven by my wife who seems to prefer it over her Mercedes. I am a mature adult who drives like a mature adult. The vehicle has never been “hot rodded”, and any necessary maintenance has been completed in a timely manner. All of the Original Equipment GM Manuals are included as well as manuals for all of the aftermarket equipment.
