All buyers wanting to register the car in the state of FL is required to pay 6% state tax on the full purchase price, plus up to 1% county tax (depending on your county) which is capped at $5000. you must also pay tag, title and a 299 buyers fee. out of state buyers who will be shipping the car with a licensed shipper may pay their state taxes and associated fees in your home state if you so choose.
