I purchased the car certified pre-owned from the Hyundai dealer. At purchase I also purchased a 4 year unlimited mileage warranty backed by Mopar (Chrysler) at a $2, 450 value. Warranty will repair anything that can break and only has a $100 deductible. If anything breaks you can take to the Hyundai dealer, they will contact Mopar, you will pay the $100 deductible, then Mopar will pay directly for the rest of the repair cost. This warranty is fully transferable to the car buyer and does not expire until Jan. 2018 has $1, 430 remaining value. This combination of a fully loaded Sonata 2.0T Limited value for money and guaranteed no repair costs until 2018 is a rare opportunity.
I am selling because I now have a business car. Internally and mechanically the car is in excellent condition. There are two cosmetic items on the car that can be repaired. They will cost under $400 to repair and I will repair them when I get a chance. But I am offering the car at a $800 discount if someone would rather save some money then make the repairs themselves. The cosmetic items are as follows. The front windshield has rock chips/cracks and should be replaced. The passenger side mirror has a small crack in the plastic that is only visible from inside the car or behind the car. The driver's side rear window needs tinting applied to match the other windows, and the tinting on the rear window has bubbled. (There is some paint chips on the front but with all the rocks on Houston roads this is to be expected).
This Sonata was my daily driver and has higher (highway) mileage, but the full warranty guarantees no repairs over $100 until 2018. It is a very fun car to drive with its 2.0 liter turbo engine producing over 275 HP using regular fuel and 300 HP if 93 octane premium fuel is used. (The engine is smart enough to increase the turbo PSI when higher octane fuel is used). Its combination of fun, high MPG, and premium audio and interternals make it a great car that I will miss.
