The car has a Texas Reconditioned Title due to water penetration in the car at the dealership. Only a small amount of water made its way to the floorboard, but never near any of the electronics. The Infiniti dealership quickly cleaned the car up so no long term damage was done. I was happy to purchase the car this way in January 2012 at a discount since it had the options I wanted on the car (I wanted the accident avoidance system which none of the other cars on the lot had due to the cost of the option and limited availability from Infiniti) I have put all the miles on this car since new (4, 500 mile demo) and can say I have never had an issue with anything on this car. Everything works as it should. The battery was disconnected at the time of the insurance inspection so the odometer was not recorded at time of claim so the title at time of original sale was marked as not actual miles but it could be assumed that the mileage when I purchased the car was around 4, 500 would be an accurate reading. I am a car enthusiast and take very good care of my cars. No excuses. Book value is over $22, 000 with the miles being considered. You would never know about any issue with this car if you were not told. This is a super nice car that someone will be very happy to own. Infiniti has amazing technology that even the most sophisticated European cars do not have. YOU WILL LOVE THIS CAR!
