Up for sale is my 1967 International Harvester 1200B 3/4 ton 4x4 Pickup. This pickup has been my project for some time now and is in good running and driving order. I drive it as often as my schedule allows, but have decided to sell it to fund other ventures. It is in very decent shape cosmetically for it's age.
I have not done any bodywork on it, there are a few dents and small holes in the body panels, but nothing a little labor couldn't fix. The floor panels are in good shape with a small hole developing in the passenger side floorboard. There is a patch in the drivers side floorboard and the pumpkin area has been patched until the 4wd is completely installed. I am currently reupholstering the seat, as can be seen in the pictures and will continue to work on that project until it sells.
The paint is original as far as I can tell and all the glass is original and intact as well. Both windows operate as they should and I have the original dash cluster and OE reverse lights as well. The current dash cluster is from a Ford F250 as well as the steering wheel. This was done for mechanical reasons as you'll see below.
This is not a stock IH pickup. The motor is a Ford 351W (5.8L) fuel injected and the transmission is a Ford E40D 4-Speed Automatic transmission. All of the computer equipment and wires have been installed and mounted under the hood and run throughout the pickup to enable it to properly function. (Hence the Dash Cluster) This truck starts every time I want it to. It takes me where I want to go and back home. It has been completely reliable for me.
I have recently installed a new dual exhaust, which sounds great and a new power steering pump. I also installed a new custom drive shaft and K&N air filter. All of the electrical wiring is run in the dash for installation of radio's etc.
The engine runs strong and transmission shifts very smooth. This is a 4x4 Pickup, however I have not had the time to finish installing the front drive shaft or 4wd gear selector into the transfer case and mount through the floorboard. The front locking hubs operate as they should.
The Pickup is sitting on 31 tires on 16.5 8 lug wheels.
This is a very solid, strong running truck. You don't find IH trucks like this very easy anymore.
