Description:

This is the nicest scout you will ever see. This truck was originally from desert of southeastern Washington. I purchased this truck in January 2004 from Oregon and had it shipped in an enclosed trailer to NY. Since then I have put on about 500 miles and it was stored covered in a heated garage. Prior it went through a 5 year restoration. The truck had and has absolutely 0 rust. Everything in this truck is original. The engine, 304 v8 and drive train have 45, 000 original miles. With 4.10 gears in the Dana 44 rear and Dana 30 front this scout can climb a wall in 1st gear while being able to cruise at 60 in 4th gear. The tranny is a T18 4spd. it has dual gas tanks with a switch in the cab. It has the factory vacuum wipers that work. The 2 speed heater also works nice. The lift on this scout is a spring over(done correctly)raising the vehicle about 5 inches. All the work was done very professionally by Granite Motorsport in Oregon. A custom 2 1/4 dual exhaust setup was installed. It looks beautiful and sounds incredible. The black wheels with 33x12.50x15 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires look fantastic and the ride is great. The front and rear bumpers were made by D and C Extreme. The B2B front and Rock Crawler rear are both powder coated and the rear bumper has a receiver mounted to it. The rear quarter windows are sliders from a 1969 scout aristocrat and are very rare. The interior is done with rare factory black carpeting. When you climb in the cab it both looks and smells like a new car. When driven to local shows people gawk and stare at it as it truly is one of a kind. I have driven other collectible cars, but this one by far draws the most attention. While this truck is in awesome condition a couple small imperfections exist. The factory antenna has a crack in it, the AM radio doesn't work. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have and will try to check my email as often as I can. The reserve price is very reasonable considering the condition of this vehicle. Bid with confidence as you will not be able to find a more pristine scout. TERMS OF SALEplease serious bidders only. $1000 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions end. Balance to be paid with a bank check. I will be happy to help arrange shipping within the US.
