Up for auction is a 1972 International Scout II with 345 V8 and Automatic transmission. Original, rust free California truck that was purchased from an Estate Sale, rescued from storage and was owned by a collector that passed away. The Scout was only driven seasonally on weekends if that at all! It’s had one repaint and the International Glacier Blue looks amazing. The mechanicals have been checked and the motor runs flawless. Scout runs perfectly and fires up immediately every time. Originally a factory A/C Scout but currently missing the compressor but more importantly, the under dash unit and condenser are intact. It would be a perfect candidate to convert to a new compressor with R134 anyways. Fuel tank has been upgraded to a poly version with new sending unit. The interior is very nice, no tears or rips. Nice aftermarket stereo system. It's got nice, period correct wagon wheels and new BFG tires. All the glass is great and has the preferred optional sliding rear side windows. This is a perfect example of a great rust-free CA Scout. I have the clean and clear signed California title in hand ready to go. I've bought and sold several cars and trucks here on eBay and have a very good sales history with my buyers. You won't be disappointed with this Scout. HAGERTY Insurance recently said: International SUV's are up 85% and These SUV's are going to be the big trend in car collecting. The reserve is low and fair and if you check the other Scout II’s on eBay atm. .there are a handful of Scouts currently being offered at 20K and as high as 30k but they are not low mileage survivors like this one!
