If this truck looks familiar it's bc you may have seen it in the Country Music Video The One that Got Away by Jake Owen. Yes this is the exact truck used in the video. However I did put about $9k of upgrades to the truck including all new ryno liner on the whole truck. When I bought it 4 years ago I put all the money into cosmetic and not much into the motor. I have had one mechanic on it the entire time. It drives great but definitely could use some upgrading under the hood. I know it has a 345 motor but that's about all I do know. When I get it on the highway it can get up to 75 MPH. I'm not a truck guy, this was just my toy. I don't want to get rid of it but having a 16 month old son doesn't allow me to drive it anymore. | “When I bought this truck 4 years ago I was told that the body was in great shape. Because the whole truck is covered with Ryno Liner I could not tell how ugly it was underneath. After taking it to a shop I found that most of the doors and fender were almost rusted out. I went in a completely replaced any part of the body that showed signs of rust and re Ryno lined the entire body. I have put a lot of money into the body and exterior of the truck. I have done limited with the motor. I am not a truck guy but it definitely needs some work under the hood. A mechanic told me that it has a few leaks but nothing a little TLC wouldn't fix and nothing that comes with any considerable cost.” |
