1979 International Scout, Scout II version, Top comes off, 4WD, 345 V-8 (5.6ltr), automatic, factory Air Conditioning, manual everything. This vehicle has sat most of it's life on a hunting range in Texas where it was purchased 4 years ago by me. I had every intention of restoring it for my 2 boys to enjoy when they got a little older, but time has slipped away from me. It needs restoring, but it does run pretty good. I have changed the gas tank and hoses, put new spark plugs in it, a new carburator and I crank it up and let it run from time to time. It will move on it's own but I would probably change the transmission fluid in the tranny before I attempted to drive it too far. I will say it will need to be towed when bought. It does have it's own tow bar so it would be good for traveling as well. I just don't have the time to do what I would like to it and I am moving to Alaska soon and can't take it with me.
It will be at my fathers house in Orange Park Florida for pickup. There is a rust free windshield frame that comes with it to replace the one on there. Those are extremely hard to find and it alone cost me $600. It comes with the purchase of this vehicle All the rest of the body parts and trim are in the back of it. It has a set of bucket seats and one bench seat for the rear. There are some small rust spots in the quarters and a few on the front floor pans, but again, it's not road ready right now and needs to be restored.
Buyer is responsible for arranging shipment and the cost of shipping to wherever you want. I won't take any checks unless they are certified bank draft. You must make a $500 non refundable deposit via PayPal immediately (within 24 hours) after sale ends and the balance in cash or certified bank draft within 72 hours after auction ending. Shipping is on the buyer. The vehicle will not be shipped until all funds have cleared.
