Hello for sale is my 1968 International Scout 800a. If you know about these Scouts, then you know how cool they are and how hard it is to find them in this condition. This Scout was in fantastic condition when I bought it and I've added to it by making what I believe are some tasteful upgrades. I've had it painted, redone the interior, tuned and cleaned the motor, also given a bit of a lift with new wheels and tires. If you're looking for a real head-turner here it is. The Scout has been serviced,  runs and drives fantastic, plenty of power and ready for any adventure, hunting, fishing, camping, beach trips or just picking up groceries. The numbers matching V-8 motor is very strong and healthy. All new points, plugs and wires. New battery, and all new fluids. The transmission and clutch are also very sound. The 4x4 running gear is all factory Dana 27 up front and Dna 44 rear. The 4x4 system on this truck works as it should and is very easy to use with the locking hubs. The Scout has been lifted approx 2.5-3 with a spring over axel kit. It's been fitted with new Black Powder Coated 15 Wheels, new 31X10.5x15 tires, also includes the spare tire mounted in the rear. All New bushing and shocks. The interior is in great shape, all newly redone seats front, rear and door panels with dark grey vinyl which complement the exterior paint very well. I've had new black carpet added to the front cab area and a grey bedliner to the rear bed area. I'm selling with the truck a complete Roll Bar 5pic set from (IH Parts $350.00), which is new but will need to be installed. The factory AM radio works great, as does interior light located below the radio. I had all the window seals replaced, all the istruments/gauges work. Both factory 10gal gas tanks are in outstanding shape and work just fine. I've had the exhaust replaced with brand new dual system that sounds great. The paint is new, although not show quality it is a very nice above average driver condition, the color is called Stone Grey its a non-metallic old school paint color done in 2-stage that helps maintain the Scout's classic feel while still blending with the modern touches. It's awesome very different I get complements all the time on the color. Windows have been newly tinted. I could go on and on about this 800, I've restored 6 of these body styles and I understand what to look for when buying these for restoration and this is a very, very solid truck, most important it is rust free and has been well maintained its entire life. I have the original factory build sheet, maintenance guides, and operators booklet for this Scout. More people are starting to understand just how cool these Scouts are, which is making them harder to find in this condition.
