Great
project vehicle for restoration. As-is unmolested, improved cooling 392 V8 / 727 auto trans, 4x4 with Lock-O-Matic hubs, Dana 205 transfer case, front disc brakes, Dana 44's w/3.73 GR, PS, PB, AC, tilt wheel with cruise control. Lived its life in New Mexico and Tucson, Az. Factory sunroof probably installed at CVI or at dealer but ordered through IH. The one in my Wagonmaster is identical. Line setting ticket from SSS included. I bought it with another truck to save it from the crusher. It has been sitting for at least 6 years.
It is not a running vehicle right now
but I know it runs. Dropped the old oil and filter and put in 5 gallons of fresh oil for two days then drained down to 5 qts. Added a carb and battery and it fired right up. (New battery and carb does not come with it). It didn't show oil pressure so we shut it down. Water pump is froze, all belts are off. Smog pump is there but needs lines hooked up. I have too many trucks to spend time on this so it must go as I just bought a Wagonmaster and two Scouts. The passenger side glass was shot out by the neighbors BB gun but I have OEM glass that goes with it. Typical rust at rear 1/4's as in pics but clean everywhere else. Clean rockers and pillars. If I didn't already have 6 IH's I'd keep it. Its sitting on rolling rubber.
