It's time for the Isuzu to find a new home. It has been a great little SUV for us up until this spring when it started having trouble steady idling and going through coolant. My buddy thinks its a head gasket leak (He is not a actual mechanic) so we tried the head gasket sealant liquid from advance auto parts but it didn't help, I planned on having it looked at by a local mechanic but its been 6 months and it's time it went to someone who will give it the attention it needs. This is a 18 year old vehicle that has 213K miles on it, it certainly isn't a beauty queen but with a little work could be a great commuter or first car. Tires are good and no leaks (See picture of driveway under engine). It is being sold as is and where is. The best part is this auction is absolute the car will go to the highest bidder, no reserve, no funny business. So if you can use this vehicle bid early and often, I'm starting the bidding at $60 which is what Ebay charges to sell a car. | “Softball sized dent on rear of vehicle above bumper (See Picture). Numerous other small scratches, dents, stains, chips and other imperfections that would be expected on a 18 year old vehicle with 213,000 miles. Everything works as it should with the exception of the gas gauge (broken when I got it, I just use the trip odometer) and the aftermarket stereo works intermittently. Car starts up no problem but has trouble idling, you will need to keep giving it gas at stop and slow speeds to prevent stalling if you plan on driving it (I would recommend towing it ).” |
