This ISUZU is a very solid, clean ONE-ORIGINAL-OWNER California Trooper, residing in California its entire life since being sold new in 2000 by F.H Dailey Chevrolet/Isuzu of San Leandro, CA. Purchased by its original owner as a company vehicle for the owner's wife, who drove it until now. It scores a 43 in AUTOCHECK's 30-52 rating scale.
The car is completely stock and all original. 201k freeway miles, on the optional 3.5L
ACURA
motor available that year. It starts, idles and drives very well, quietly and smoothly on both town and on the highway.
There is
ABSOLUTELY NO rust nor corrosion
on this vehicle, as it would be expected from a California-lived Trooper ( hard-pressed condition to find in any vehicle beyond the Sierra mountains). BEWARE OF RUST BUCKETS EAST OF THE WEST COAST~! ( it's beyond me
why
anyone would want to buy an East coast car with potential hidden rust ).
This Trooper comes equipped with most standard features and amenities available at that time. In addition, it had an aftermarket in-dash CD sound system installed. Clean set of factory optional alloy wheels along with a decent set of radial tires mounted on them ( with approximately 50% tread left).
NO engine lights, codes nor service warnings to contend with. Stock 3.5L engine engine runs very well. As it is well documented in all ISUZU Trooper databases and forums, the 3.5ACURA motor was a vast improvement over the earlier, anemic and unreliable engines as it was more robust and had more torque as a result of engine contracting directly with HONDA to supply the nearly-bulletproof power-plant to a more efficient, reliable motor.
NO overheating issues, ticking nor noises to contend with. This Trooper has only 201K

total freeway miles, about average for any well-travelled car. Desirable 5-spd manual transmission shifts well into all gears including reverse. Low and High transfer cases work fine. Power disc brakes brake smoothly without pulsation. Power steering and Power windows ( all four work). As this is a solid-roof model, there are NO leaky sunroofs to contend with, ever. Nice

Finish is its original Forest-green finish, never repainted or touched up. The body, chassis and undercarriage are super solid considering this Trooper is seventeen years young !
There is NO corrosion or rusting on the roof, hood or rear areas ( or anywhere else for that matter), common on many East -coast examples where the elements and salted roads have taken their toll on the body panels and undercarriage, a hindrance nearly impossible to repair!
The original Gray-cloth upholstery is in very good condition and has held up surprisingly well. There are no cracks or tears on any of the leather in the seats. Clean headliner. Overall, a very clean interior, door panels, factory carpeting and trunk area. The photos show the ISUZU accurately. NON SMOKER vehicle always.
A very solid, rust-free unrestored 99' ISUZU Trooper 3.5L, with freeway miles and the good 3.5L ACURA engine. It runs well with a strong, solid powertrain. Clean chassis, no tweaks and NO rust and nice interior. It will make a great traveler, camping vehicle or just a fun Trooper to drive around.

Please be aware, I do not control pick up or delivery times should you purchase it; that is pending weather conditions and shipping/ trucking delivery schedules.
Of note: Do not calculate shipping cost based on the Ebay calculator. Shipping to just about anywhere on the East coast is less than $1000. Other parts of the U.S closer to California are considerably less, of course.
