The Bad;
Needs small oil leak on passenger side cam cover fixed along with a lifter that should be
replaced while the cover is off since it occasionally takes a little time to pump up.
The ABS is disconnected since it can pulse when going about 3 MPH and coming to a stop.
The brakes all work fine.
The purge valve for the evaporate emission system needs to be replaced as it can give
an error and turn on the check engine light. I checked the code with a scanner and is
what it points to. The rear window washer does not work, the wiper does.
The Good:
I purchased this vehicle a little over 8 years and 30K miles ago from the original owner as a grocery getter for the wife. At that time had a variety of work performed since I did not want the wife to worry about reliability. The power steering pump was replaced due to a leak, The idle air control valve was replace since the idle was slightly uneven. All drive belts replaced. Ball joints were replaced since the rubber seal was cracked, the front brakes were replace since the technician was in the area via the ball joints. The cam belt, water pump, crankshaft front seal and camshaft seals were replaced since the original owner did not have a record of when the timing belt was last replaced. The cat was replaced as it did not pass smog.
Since then the starter, alternator and battery were replaced about 2-3 years ago troubleshooting a charging problem, which turned out to be a faulty connector! Windshield was replaced about 3 years ago due to a crack. Looks nice and clear. All 4 Shocks replaced and rear brakes.The AC blows cold and the electrics all work.
The body and interior are in decent shape. The is a small rub mark on the right side of the front bumper. The windows have a blue tint on them, mostly ok. The rear window has some wrinkles but not a major issue. The radio and CD player are the standard what came with the car. I have replaced the front and rear speakers with upgraded ones a few years ago. The radio was missing a small / tiny knob but i have replaced it with a small hose
which works great and is not noticeable. Both headlights were replaced recently due to one going out. The windshield washer pump was replaced as it failed and work fine.Tires are in good shape with lots of thread. Spare is a full size tire with a matching allow wheel. The shift on the fly 4 Wheel drive works fine.The engine is a 3.2 24 valve V6, i believe it was made by Honda. I have the original owners maintenance records and records from my ownership time. Also included is the factory service manual.
If you fix the oil leak and replace the lifter you should get a lot more mileage out of this SUV.
