ISUZU VehiCROSS 1999 Silver 3 Door Isuzu VehiCross has 4 wheel torque on demand. AWD/4WD. Automatic 3.5 liter V6 engine. New battery, New Starter, A/C and heater work great. Runs and drives great. Transmission shifts nicely. Winter and Power mode work great. It is a beast in the snow! Occasionally burns a little oil but other than that, it is mechanically sound and has only been driven on local streets and highways. It has been garaged most of the two and a half years we have owned it. We haven't had any mechanical issues with exception of the battery and starter. We replaced the starter but had to drop the exhaust system to get to it, so the exhaust needs three flange gaskets and one new hanger. The exhaust is all back together, it just leaks a bit. The body looks good and had no bondo at all. Because of it's age, the body has a few minor imperfections ie. rock chips, small paint chips, a small area on the roof where clear coat peeled, minor dings, paint scuffs and just a couple of deeper scratches. It has two small bubbled paint spots but no pitted rust. The body armor is in good shape with the exception of a deep scratch on the tail gate molding and on the passenger side there is a deep line scratch on the black plastic body armor and a discolored stain. (See photos) The Isuzu logo chrome lettering on the tailgate is peeling and the VehiCROSS logo's have some scratches. The frame just has normal surface rust and we coated the under carriage with rust stop when we first bought it just as a preventative. It has the original black and red leather Recaro seats. Back seat has very little wear. Fronts are in good shape as well but have a little more wear. (see pictures) Carpet is in descent shape with a few worn areas but nothing major. The interior trim on the doors are carbon fiber. There is a hairline crack on the passenger door handle grip. The headlights are foggy but clean up well. The hood insert is weathered and has a small v shaped nick on one of the edges. (see picture) All the other interior plastic molding is in descent shape but does have few scuffs and scratches. Equipped with XM radio, and CD player but could eventually use better speakers. Equipped with electric windows and door locks and key fob with alarm system. The windshield has a few scratches and one noticeable scratch, but no cracks at all. Passenger window rolls down but it has a tendency to slide slightly off the track when rolling it up. VehiCROSS is known for passenger window issues. The plus is that the window motors work on both driver and passenger windows. We usually help the passenger window stay on the track when we have rolled it down. Passenger and drivers side exterior window trim is weathered (see photo.) Passenger door window rubber has some black duck tape on a small probably four inch piece or section but it was like that when we bought it and windows have never leaked. New shocks. 4 newer tires are in great shape and still have nubs.
