1970 Jaguar XKE
If you are looking for a truly fabulous sports car and one of the most beautifully designed automobiles of all time,
then take a long look at this gorgeous XKE roadster in this ad.
Series II E-Type
The restoration was done about eight years ago.
Light blue body over dark blue interior with dark blue cloth top.
The convertible top is a complimentary blue and the interior is navy blue leather.
Quite breathtaking, the paint comes off as a smooth mirror finish from all angles.
It doesn’t stop there for the paint under the bonnet and undercarriage is also very attractive.
Six-cylinder engine (4.2 L) with 4-speed transmission. Disk brakes.
All the chrome and stainless glisten with the exception of the right rear bumper that a flaw.
Even though it is hard to see in the pictures the right rear bumper needs attention.
The private seller has indicated that other then the right rear bumper shows very nice and no evidence of any amateur work.
The trunk is well finished and tight.
The car is equipped with a teak wood steering wheel. Adjustable steering wheel.
The owner believes the radio to be the original radio.
The gauges are all working.
The air conditioning is believed to need a charge.
The car has a special oil filter like they use in racing and the seller tells us that the car is extremely fast.
The mileage on the odometer is indicating approximately 89, 000 and is believed to be original.
Chrome luggage rack.
In recent years the car took 3rd place at a Jaguar show.
While it is not a perfect #1 show car, the reserve is so attractive it might as well not have one.
