This is a beautiful Jaguar E-Type 2+2 in a burgundy color. We have been debating whether or not to sell this beauty but since it's been sitting in our garage and we haven't driven it for a couple years, we decided that it was someone else's turn to drive it and not hide it in the garage. We are the third owners and have had this car for 20 plus years. We have all always garaged the Jag, keeping it dry and safe. It has almost 44, 000 original miles so it hasn't been driven a lot since 1969. My husband worked on it mechanically but does not do body work and his hands were getting a little to old and achy to keep working on it. We used to love driving around just in the Dayton, Ohio area in this car and get all sorts of admiring looks. It's a fun car. Everything on this car is original. The engine and body numbers match. The paint is original and so is the black leather interior which has no tears and is in good condition. I am including some pictures now and please specify if you request more pictures. There are some spots on the body that are bubbled but the majority of the body is also in good condition. It will need new tires. The auction lasts for 7 days. Once a bidder wins, please send a $1000 deposit to hold it within 24 hours via Paypal. The balance of payment needs to be complete within 7 days of auction close via cashier's check or money order. You will have to make arrangements to have the car shipped as it needs a new battery and hasn't been run for a couple of years. We needed to put two kids through college which came before fixing the body.
