2002 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 6 cyl AWD Sunroof, Leather beautiful red color. Replaced the engine...I've owned this car for about three years. I bought the car needing transmission repair and had the transmission completely rebuilt with all of the bulletproof upgrades correcting the problems these transmissions had coming from the factory. I changed the engine oil a while ago and didn't realize the filter gasket remained on the filter port. The filter consequently didn't seal properly when replaced resulting in all of the oil spraying out ruining the engine. I replaced the engine with one that only has a bit more than 60000 mile on it. I have the papers. I drove the Jag until about six months ago when it started intermittently running strange. It was running like something was stuck in the exhaust pipe causing back-pressure. I took it to the mechanic who told me both Catalytic Converters need to be replaced. It also needs to have the hood latch cable replaced. I parked the car in my driveway where it remains. It was running when parked but, the last time I turned it over after it sit for several months it would not start. I bought myself a Ford F-250 Diesel pickup. I have invested more than $10, 000 in the Jaguar. My lose is your gain . . .NO RESERVE... You’ll have to tow it home. If you live close by I can help get it to your home using my tow dolly. Selling as is where is.

If you bid on this item make sure you intend to buy the car and have research all of these things before hand. Listings are not free. Be advised that if you area mechanically inclined do-it-yourselfer, these catalytic converters can be replaced at a reasonable price. They range from $200.00 - $350 on eBay. Otherwise mechanic businesses who specialize in Jaguar repair can be very pricey. Please do your homework before bidding.

The car is being sold as is where is. The problem noted in the description is one mechanics opinion, I'm not a mechanic although I believe he is correct but, very well could be something else going on...If you win the bid you own it...Pick up required within 7 days.
