This is it folks! You are looking at an incredibly well-maintained, 3-owner 2001 Vanden Plas with 69, 135 original miles. This is one of the finest examples of a vehicle of this style and vintage that will never go out of style and will only continue to go up in value. I have been the proud owner of 4 Jaguars over the years and this is by far the best unit I have ever owned. It has an incredibly smooth, quiet ride with literally not one squeak or rattle. The transmission is smooth and in sport mode it is extremely responsive. Like it's previous two owners, I have babied this car and since owned, it has received:
New fuel pumpNew tires (less than +/- 5-10% wear)New headliner and leather skin on console (completed by an award winning upholsterer in Redondo Beach)New brakes.
This car needs nothing with the exception of possible leather reconditioning on the drivers side. Everything works as it should. Everything!
I have maintained the vehicle religiously at Penske in Scottsdale, at Galpin Jaguar in Van Nuys and a Jaguar specialist in Redondo Beach. I consider this to be nearly a show car in its present condition. The photos speak for themselves.
The car was originally delivered in Arizona and I purchased the car in Arizona with approximately 57, 500 miles on it in late 2013. I have since moved to southern California where it remains today, always garaged and alway under cover. This would be an awesome cruiser back home for out of state buyers. Title is clean and Carfax rates the car higher than average. Note: Carfax lists 3 previous owners. I am actually the 3rd.
