Description:

1989 Jaguar XJS V-12 with only 19, 471 actual miles. Outstanding condition, inside & out. Blue with saddle interior and black convertible top. Always kept garaged, non-smoker, California vehicle with no rust. It has had only 1500 road miles since 1998 and for the past 8 years zero miles. It was serviced and smog tested in March 2008 and then driven only 10 miles to a garage where it has been in storage ever since. It was in great running condition at the time of the 2008 service but has not been driven during that 8 year storage period. In preparation for selling, it was transported on flatbed to a service garage so a licensed mechanic could take all necessary precautions to attempt start. Mechanic installed new battery, drained gas tank, lubricated injectors, etc ... started right up. Noticed minor transmission leak due to a dried gasket in the modulator and he replaced the gasket.
A few minor items ... the hood and trunk struts no longer hold the lids in an open position, but can be easily replaced. Rubber grommet surrounding the base of the power antenna is missing. Plastic housing that holds window & roof buttons in place is broken on center console, but buttons are fully functional. Refer to picture files for examples and description of missing/broken parts. Plastic lip on front under tray spoiler is cracked.
