The Doctor's Personal Car
I am a broker and I was contacted by a member of the family that is in charge of a local Doctor's estate to sell this car. All pictures taken with my digital camera and the pictures have not been altered or photoshopped.
Up for auction is this 1992 Jaguar XJS V-12 convertible cabriolet. The car was purchased and used by a local Doctor. It was the doctor's preferred vehicle of transportation. Come rain or shine, the car got him to where ever he needed to go. The car retired the same time as did the doctor and the car sat for a little bit. The car is solid and starts up and drives. It is tired in some places and shows its age in spots. The beautiful Beryl wood grain interior accent shows signs of peeling. The tan leather seats show a little wear. The exterior burgandy paint shows wear in some places.It has a newer convertible top and looks really good. The convertible top has no tears or holes, no fading, and it goes up and down perfectly. No accidents, clean carfax, Some corrosion on the factory Jaguar Wheels. More or less a vehicle that is a diamond in the rough. Vehicle has no rust, has been garaged for some time. One of the things we noted is that we had to do some repairs to get it running. What we found is that rodents had entered into the engine area and some wiring damage noted, we made some repairs to the wiring and seems be operational. It seems to drive okay, but we believe it may need just a little bit more TLC to get the maximum output and performance. The family estate has yet to locate any maintenance or repair records. The family estate will look at every offer that comes in/ There are other similar Jaguar's on ebay, but this one you can work on as you enjoy it and drive it, on this auction, the highest bidder gets the car, there is NO RESERVE.
The Jaguar XJS V-12

The Jaguar XJS V-12 that was produced from 1990 to 1996, were also called the Jaguar XJS Classic. A total of 27, 406 were produced, 8, 832 were coupes and 18, 524 were convertibles. This XJS came with a 4 speed automatic transmission, coupled with the 5.3 Liter HE V-12 single overhead camshaft 60 degrees with 2 valves per cylinder. It has an output of 280 bhp of power at 5550 rpm and a maximum torque of 415N-m at 2800 rpm. The maximum speed claimed at 147 mph.
