Hello - PENNY AUCTION - NO RESERVE - Please read the entire ad before bidding, thank you. I want this 1st auction of this Jaguar to be complete and legitimate. I just drove this nifty car again today and you will receive compliments from people wherever you go. Two people stopped to talk with me about her while taking the car pictures you see here. I LOVE the way this two seater car reacts to a bump or a hole, smooth sailing, they must have utilized top notch suspensions in these cars, handles even speed bumps very, very well. Nice looking body with what I deem to be a repaint, and a quality job. It's a cool and different car. The old V12 was removed and a V8 GM engine was installed, I do not know when. Automatic transmission, upgraded Pioneer in dash stereo CD. Look at these tires and wheels ! Very classy and they make the car even prettier. A Jaguar fan really needs to buy this vehicle. I took it in on trade and really know nothing about this Cat other than a nice 80 year old man here in Arizona had owned it for the past 13 years. Since it's not my personal driver, please understand that I am simply selling her on ebay without much knowledge about her. I want to address some vehicle concerns. PLEASE do not expect a mint vehicle. Please do not expect perfection. The car is a Jaguar that has some flaws but the positives do outweigh the negatives for sure. The car was given a restored salvage title years back and my title reflects that too, the odometer and now speedometer is not operational so I will be selling this XJS as true miles unknown. Older Jags seem to love to drip fluid (power steering or brake or oil) and this one is no exception. The older gent that traded it in said the hydraulic line leaks for the power aspect of the top, so I caution the tops operation and don't want to additionally re-stain the top with fluid leaks anymore with attempts at operation. The car has loads of buttons and switches and I cannot assure you that all buttons and switches will work. I have tried the two power front windows and they are working. The a/c was altered during the conversion, so the a/c and heater will need inspected and worked on by your mechanic. Do not attempt to drive the car to your home state, I have little experience with it other than driving some on the highway and some city driving too, it was fun to drive but not enough experience with her to permit an ebay buyer's road trip. This would Not be a good prudent move, I can't allow it. The brakes felt firm and need to be serviced too (plus drip) so please adhere that the car must be transported to your home state via a carrier. Tell the shipping company that YES it does run and drive. Best idea is for your mechanic to see the car initially, by the way the shipping of the vehicle via transporter is for safety reasons and as a bonus it can save you from being assessed 9.2% Arizona tax. You are responsible for paying your own State's tax. Safety reasons = ship the car, thank you. It's a one cent auction so I'm not trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes with this nifty coupe. There will be surprises too, some great and some not so great. Please understand it's not my own personal car. If the car has an issue or item that you aren't pleased with, it is up to you to fix it at your expense, whether the item was stated here or not stated here in the ad, 100% your fix at your expense. I couldn't get the drivers door to lock the other day, so yes any flaw or problem becomes your expense. I will GLADLY try and accommodate your PRE bid inspection. The car will have needs for you to address, so please understand that before bidding. Please no demands after bidding. You end up the high bidder, you are fully expected to pay. My track record here speaks for itself and verifies that I am safe to deal with. I will not be smogging the car for you. You are buying her AS-IS, no implied warranty and no expressed warranty of any kind. The buyer arranges and pays for shipping and please note I am not an exporter. You will be asked to sign typical car dealer transaction documents and I can overnight them to you. Please pay within 3 days and have the transporter pickup here in Glendale AZ within 9 days, thanks. I can drive it to an easy load area close to me here to make it easier on the carrier company. The shippers are great communicators. Car can't leave until my bank gives the all clear.
