I am pleased to offer this 1953 Jaguar XK120 OTC Roadster. (Open two seat).
In the original stunning Cream White with Red interior & black canvas weather soft top & side curtains. It also retains its original Jaguar knock off wire wheels.
Conceived as a low-volume model, the XK120 Roaster proved considerably more popular than expected, with the result that the expensive-to-produce, ahs-framed alloy coachwork was replaced by steel after 240 cars had been completed, though, as with this car presented, the bonnet (hood) , doors, and boot lid (trunk lid) remain aluminum.
This car's heart was, of course, is the fabulous XK engine. Conceived in wartime, the 3.4 litre “six” embodied the best of modern design, boasting twin overhead camshafts running in an aluminum-alloy cylinder head, seven main bearings and a maximum output of 160bhp. When installed in the lightweight XK120, the result was a car with a phenomenal power-to-weight ratio and blistering performance.
The “120” referred to the car's top speed, any doubts about the claims veracity being swiftly banished when a standard XK120 achieve a top speed of 126.4 mph with hood and side screens erected and 132.6 mph minus its weather protection. The XK120 set new standard of comfort, road holding, and performance for British sports car and, in keeping with the Jaguar tradition, there was nothing to touch it at the price.

Condition:
Absolutely superb accident & rust free body & underside. Painted once in its correct color a few years ago, paint (PPG base/Clear) and interior was completed back in 2010 to 2012. The interior seat work was completed by Rag Tops and Roasters of Perkasie Pa. I still have all the original interior parts. The vehicle has original 48, 000 miles and title is recorded as actual miles.

Interior is lovely as shown. The seats and interior were redone around the same time as the VERY HIGH QUALITY correct leathers.
Soft top with original top frame work is very good original as are the side curtains and are included in the sale. Original air cleaners, All Original parts included in the sale, The car has the hard to find original tool kit, spare, and original jack in the trunk.
Mechanically delightful, The XK starts and sounds the correct with the attractive unmistakable Jaguar engine sound - no smoke on start up, excellent oil pressure, lots of power, transmission & clutch are very good, brakes & steering are also good.
The master cylinder brake lines, rubber, original master cylinder just professionally rebuilt, and brakes were just serviced. This beautiful car just passed the rigors of the Pennsylvania State Safety inspection and has the stickers to prove it.
This is a superb surviving example of a very rare car with very high quality paint, mechanicals, interior, numerous years in the same hands. Check Hagerty for rising values of the XK120s. This car is a sound investment as well as pleasure to own.
This vehicle has been in a private collection was last publically seen in the Philadelphia Vintage Grand Prix in the 1990s and has the award to prove it. It has never been offered for sale until now. Don’t miss it a good one of these xk120 rarely comes up on the market.
