This stunning California car has covered only 95, 000 miles from new averaging 7, 500 miles/yr. The Coupe is much more rare and aesthetically pleasing than the way more common convertible. The hood, roof and trunk have had a professional carbon fiber vinyl wrap that looks amazing. It has beautiful 19alloys, turns heads and gets compliments constantly. You can't take this car anywhere without strangers telling you constantly how cool your car is and it drives as good as it looks. In 2003 Jaguar upgraded the XK8 and fitted it with the new 4.2 liter V8 coupled to a 6 speed auto box with sport function. It is very smooth and fast, a perfect Grand Tourer. I achieved 28.1 mpg driving it back from LA to Sioux Falls SD cruising at around 80 mph most of the time. The leather is in excellent condition, the lacquer on the wood trim has a few hairline cracks but stills looks good and feels expensive. Fully equipped with Sat Nav, park assist, heated memory seats, front and rear fogs, 6 CD Alpine Sound System. The car is not brand new or a concourse show car so the paint does show the odd chip that is normal for a vehicle of this age but as you can see in the photos it looks good. These cars are super reliable and very practical. It scores 9 points above the range on Autocheck and comes with a clean Carfax and clear title. If I hadn't been offered the job in England I'd be holding on to this beauty.
On the downside there is an airbag light that just appeared on the dash. I have had it checked out by Classic Imports in Sioux Falls and they have confirmed that it is the curtain airbag in the drivers seat that needs replacing ($48 on eBay). I have run out of time to have it fixed before I leave for the UK. Other than that everything works and I use the car daily though I stress that it has never seen snow. The car is advertised so I reserve the right to end the auction early if a buyer is found.
