The following minor issues exist:
Right Rear back-up light has a BB hole
Slight impression over left from wheel well
Minor scrapes on right rear wheel coaming
Shift knob is cracked
Leather arm rests need to be recovered; center console also needs attention
Leather on door cards is fine but needs to be tightened on the door cards
Right Front wheel center “button” is missing
There are two radio volume buttons, one on the radio and the other on the steering wheel. The one on the
radio doesn’t work. The bass speakers have issues with high volume and should be replaced.
The 2014 Sports Car Market Pocket Price Guide claims that” a #2 condition car, better than your average
car but not a national show- level condition Jaguar XK8 convertible, is worth between $27, 500 and
$36, 000. This XK8 Convertible is a solid #3.
The “Stability Control Fail” & “ABS” lights occasionally come on. They have never stayed on long
enough to get to Classic Jaguar for computer analysis. Potential issues dictated by those lights were all
addressed by Classic Jaguar. A sporadically malfunctioning sensor is suspected. Which sensor cannot be
determined until the computer is hooked up while the light is on.
