For Sale: 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country. 4-door, 4x4, auto, 4.0 H.O. 177, 000 miles. Head Gasket job was done at 125, 000. Small drip at transfer case rear ouput seal, I think. Jeep runs great, transmission shifts like new, and 4x4 works perfectly. Power windows, power locks, roof rack, cruise control, compact spare, and tinted windows. Light grey cloth tweed interior with woodgrain accents. Headliner sags. 4 Kenwood 5.25 speakers but radio has been removed.
Jeep was in an accident and ran off the highway last winter in some ice hit fencing and guard rail. Worst damage is on the right side doors. Straightened everything out as best as possible. Has typical Jeep rust underneath.
I was keeping as a spare/backup, but have decided I need room for another project. This jeep is extremely dependable and has a CLEAN Kentucky title. Perfect for an off-road buggy or driveline donor. It drives just fine though if you need a daily driver, the body is just a bit banged up.
4 225/75r15 Primewell P5850's. 1 tire has an inner-tube in it from the wreck, but all are only 1 year old with about 10, 000 miles use.
Front Pads, Front Rotors, Right Front Axle U-Joint are 2 years old
Fuel Tank and Battery are 3 years old.
Fuel Pump is 4 years old.
