1975 AMC Jeep Cherokee S Custom M17, 110 Wheel Base, 2 Door. This vehicle is completely un-restored, but is in great shape and the original engine runs great! Please check carefully the photo of the original bill of sale which has all the accurate vehicle specs. There is no significant body damage (other than a couple of dings, faded paint, etc). Has original cherokee decal and emblems. Interior very worn, but all original seats, upholstery, flooring, etc. Has some adds by origin. owner, like CB radio and buy-out stereo with speakers in door panels (with missing/damaged covers). Electric rear hatch window operates, but is very sticky and sometimes won't go up/down. Rear gate opens/closes but is sticky. Gas gauge is not functional. A/C does not work. Car starts right-up, drives and rides well. It was owned and garage kept by the original owner in Texas, who died and left it to his wife, and when she died she passed it on to her niece, who sold it to me on Ebay. We purchased the vehicle hoping our teenage son would restore it, and we had everything we could think of replaced...hoses, belts, brakes, tires, air filter, fuel filter, rebuilt the carburetor, etc. Unfortunately, the teen showed no interest in restoring the car, so we're selling it. We also keep it in a garage. We have the original bill of sale (see pic), and many of the records from original purchase (including the will with codicil leaving it to the niece). Current mileage is 229, 643. We paid $11, 000 for it in 2010, and put about $5, 000 of work into it, and have only put a couple of hundred miles on it since purchasing it in 2010. But we're moving into the city and won't have room to hold onto it any more, so this could be a real deal for you if you want to restore this to it's original beauty.
