I am the second owner of this Jeep, it is my first and only vehicle, and I have owned it since 2008. I have since then payed L&S Automotive in Louisiana to install a re-manufactured long block, totaling almost $5800. I have since, converted my jeep to a T5 manual transmission, instead of the 727 automatic. I did the transmission swap myself, from a donor jeep with 86000 miles. I also installed the transfer case and rear end from the donor jeep as well as they were in good condition. I have since bought a new hood, doors, and roof, due the poor condition of the priors. Finally the interior was updated. Upon moving to Colorado, I have been unable to register my jeep due to failing emissions. My Jeep passes the emissions test, but fails for missing equipment. My jeep was registered in Louisiana and Connecticut. My Jeep has a very solid frame and body, because it was factory equipped with a Rusty Jones car saver system, hence my buy it now price. The only significant rust spots are in the usual outer fender wells behind the front wheels.
