Jeep Drives excellent – cruises at 80mph effortlessly, straight down the road at about 2900 rpm, had alignment checked by Big O tires – no changes needed, dead on.
Paint/body/interior looks good, but this is a driver – not a show vehicle, so don’t expect it to be perfect. This is a solid dependable jeep CJ-7, v8 runs great and sounds awesome, and all the usual headaches with an old jeep are already taken care of for you - brakes, electrical, body mounts, YJ spring conversion, blazer motor heater upgrade, etc - you'll be proud to show up anywhere in this CJ7! No worries = fun driving! It really is as solid and clean as it looks, I have photos of the floors before installing the rubber flooring and tons of photos of the underside ... I hate the term rust free for a 30+ year old jeep unless it was frame-off restored and dipped ... but this one won't disappoint. Keep it as is, or modify and customize you will love driving it - shifts smooth and revs beautifully, lots of fun and with summer coming it's the perfect time to get one!
The bad:
VERY small chip in the windshield that was professionally sealed
one turn signal won’t self-cancel, but *ALL* lights work
4wd indicator light in the speedo cluster is intermittent when in 4wd
Heater cables are tight and one knob is loose
