I started this project in 2007 with a rusted out old CJ7, I took it apart piece by piece down to the bare frame. I sandblasted the frame, coated it with several coats of POR 15 Chassis Black. I replaced all the brake lines, fuel lines, steering parts, bushings, shocks, etc on the frame. Both differentials were rebuilt, and the Borg Warner T18A transmission was rebuilt during the build as well (it does pop out of 3rd periodically on decal). A brand new Power Torque engine was purchased through O'Reilly's auto parts and installed. I purchased all new metal body parts from Willy's Overland in Ohio, the are so specific that the JEEP is still stamped into the quarters and rear tailgate just like AMC did it! Any surface on the body of this Jeep that is not Red is Black, it is black because I put two coats of Herculiner and two coats of POR 15 Chassis Black on it to ensure that little rocks etc don't cause rust in the future. The roll bar was upgraded to the Family bar out of the 1992-1995 Wrangler enabling the ability to have rear shoulder belts for the kids. All new Bestop reclining bucket seats and fold/tumble rear seat were installed along with a new Bestop top with the updated hardware, NO SNAPS! A Tuffy high security console was installed to keep your valued items safe when parted. I also installed a Kenwood HD radio with USB/ Iphone hookups that is powering a set of Clarion 5 1/ speakers and a set of Clarion 6 x 9 speakers in custom roll bar boxes. The sound system is unbelievable, you will have no issues hearing it when driving with the top off. I had it painted professionally in 2012 and finished the build that year. I have over $35, 000 invested in this build, there is a reserve that is set below that number. If your looking for a quality build that is sound to drive on the streets, look and sound great then I have something for you!
This Jeep was built by me for me with now notion of selling so I spared no expense when building.
Since completion this Jeep has never been off road, never been driven in the rain, and has never slept outside.
No Warranty, this vehicle may look like new but it is used. Sold As Is, Where is.
Note: Fuel gauge doesn't work. Speedometer doesn't work.
It will be for sale locally as well, so I reserve the right to end early if needed.
