I bought this jeep in November 2014 for 17.9K. An urgent financial emergency is forcing the sale and it's the only reason I'm selling my Jeep. The few issues it does have are minor. I was looking forward to getting my hands on it. It has a Howell fuel injection conversion kit, (California Legal) Hydraulic clutch and a brand new 170 amp Powermaster alternator that was mandatory for the 6 Hella 4000 Ralley off road lights. gear rack on roof is custom made and attaches on the A post instead of through the body. The spare tire rack is also custom with 2 places to lock down the 2, 5 gallon fuel containers. Front bumper has a large capacity winch that will pull you out of any sticky situation. 33 tires on true bead lockers. The interior is tan except the rear seat, which is black and also brand new. Was going to change the interior to black. Has metal locking center console and all original gauges and control levers. Everything works. The carpeting seems to have been an after-thought by the previous owner and should be replaced. I have not seen any rust on the body or frame. The custom bar work keeps the front windshield from folding down. But the roof-rack can be removed by removing only 4 bolts. The bushings in the steering need to be replaced. The steering feels very sloppy when hwy. driving. Needs a rear drive shaft. AND, as I mentioned earlier.(EVEN AT THE REDUCED PRICE) I AM WILLING TO PAY FOR AND INSTALL A BRAND NEW DRIVE SHAFT AND BRAND NEW SPICER U-JOINTS BEFORE YOU PICK UP THE JEEP. I will need the deposit, in hand, to purchase the shaft and U joints. You WILL NOT be charged anything extra, over the agreed upon sale price of the Jeep. If that is what you want, Please contact me BEFORE making the deposit to PayPal, for other deposit instructions. I hope I covered all the bases, making sure I'm listing everything I can think of good or bad. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. The jeep is still new to me. I haven't really had the time to go over everything completely. I've added a few things like the Alternator. The stock one just wasn't going to run those lights. I also have new, still in the box a power steering pump, (just to have on hand) 1 spacers for a slightly wider stance and new black anodized lug nuts. I replaced one of the idler pulley's as well as all the dash knobs. Included also is a pair of metal tube doors (Pictured).. I think that about covers it. I'm sure I'm leaving something out, so, like I said; please contact me with any questions. New info., This has the AMC 20 Rear end not the Dana 44. Also the rear drive shaft broke when friend had borrowed the jeep. (his car in shop) He says his foot slipped off of the clutch while taking off from a stop light. dropping the clutch on asphalt with 33 BFG's puts a lot of pressure on a few key spots. The weakest link broke. It really is just that simple. No gremlins, no B.S.. It wasn't off road abuse or I don't know what happened, it just broke. If I were keeping the Jeep, I'd be glad it happened there instead of while I was out on the trails in MOAB. There are no other issues with this Jeep, that would cause a drive shaft to break right at the u-joint. The new one, if you want me to install, is custom made by a gentleman selling them here on ebay. Complete with Spicer, serviceable, U-joints installed. “Normal wear for a vehicle of this type. A few small dings, absolutely no rust. Needs bushings in front end. Hella 4000 off road lights are not wired. Have some, but not all of the wire harnesses for lights. Alternator was stock, couldn't handle the lights. Installed 170 amp PowerMaster. Will handle now no problem. Everything works from the bumper winch to the tail lights. There's a minor oil leak. I haven't tracked it down yet, but appears to be coming from the valve cover. That's why I say minor. Needs rear drive shaft. which I will gladly do before you pick it up. But my current finances are the only reason I'm selling the Jeep to begin with. So if you want me to install a new drive shaft, I will need to use the deposit to purchase the BRAND NEW Shaft and BRAND NEW U joints. It is NOT an extra charge to you. It will come out of the price of the Jeep. I ask that you contact me through ebay BEFORE MAKING A DEPOSIT to PayPal.” |
