Rust free, non-leaking, clean 1986 Jeep CJ7 Laredo. Very straight and un-custumized automatic transmission Jeep. Runs very well and has been completely gone through by professional mechanic (I have all receipts if needed).
This Jeep was towed behind a motor home during its days in Arizona so the spider gears have been removed from the Dana rear end and also has a lever to disengage the rear drive. This does no effect the drivability of the Jeep, it does produce a small clicking sound when turning at very low speeds. I have had three separate mechanics look at this and they all confirmed this. Professional mechanic replaced oil pan gasket, valve cover and gasket and muffler in the last 3 months. In addition, they replaced three vacuum lines and adjusted the carb.
The wiper motor did not seem to be working well so that was replaced in June. The most recent upgrade was a new muffler in July. The Jeep is equipped with the original AC but was disconnected when I purchased the vehicle and I have not reconnected so I am not sure the running condition of that option.
The paint on hood and front part quarter may need to be repainted if you wanted an even cleaner looking Jeep. The previous owner painted hood and did not fully remove Laredo decals so you can see the shadow of that. The front has a some rock dings from it's days in Arizona. I have touched them all up and there is no rust. I have always stored the Jeep in the winter and rarely have driven it in the rain.
Jeep has bikini top and full soft cover top with doors in good condition (one zipper on the rear window needs to be restitched). It also has a custom rack/carrier that attaches to the back bumper (see pictures). Tow bar and wiring all set up to be towed behind vehicle and towing package. Lastly, the tires are in very good shape.
