Up for auction is a very well taken care of 1983 CJ7 I bought from the original owner. It has 210, 000 miles on it. Runs perfect, shifts perfect, mechanically great! If you are looking for a reliable, good looking, classic CJ7, this is the one! This is a CJ7, 258 6 cylinder T5 5speed, PS, PB, Tilt Wheel, clock (functioning), AM/FM CD, Tuffy Center console, A/C (yes, A/C that blows cold), all functioning, working gauges, hard top, soft top (factory, NEVER installed since 1983). Everything on this Jeep is solid. Rust free frame. Rust free everywhere. Drives perfect!! A southern California Jeep since the day it left the dealership. Has brand new 31 tires about 2, ooo miles ago or less. Has passed current smog. As far as I can tell there are no known leaks and I have driven it about 100 miles so far. I know Jeeps and this one is very clean. Even has factory plastic still on the back seat bar if you look closely in the pics. This is a straight up factory Jeep, only aftermarket accessory is the center console, which has the stereo inside. Everything on this CJ functions perfectly and works as it should. The hard top is in great shape, no chips, no splits, no splinters, just a little faded. The soft top HAS NEVER been installed. It was still wrapped up with the factory cloth pieces on the windows. The exterior of the body has the slightest ding in the drivers rear quarter panel, can be fixed by hand, maybe a five minute job. The paint is in good to great shape. I noticed that 3/4 of the Jeep has a satin finish and the other 1/4 a semi gloss finish, but this has never been in ANY accidents ever. The undercarriage is in great shape as well, no rust, no leaks, no damage, just a very well taken care of Jeep from the same mechanic for over 25 years. I could go on and on about this CJ. You can tell the condition of the vehicle, even the wear of the two front seats. Returns not accepted, sold AS IS! I want to keep this Jeep very badly but own a CJ 5 already.
