Local pickup only, will not ship.. Meticulously maintained 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with 152k highway miles - cheapest Overland on Craiglist. Used as my daily commuter to garage parking in Boston (50 mile daily round-trip) up until 3 years ago and then became my 3rd car so was used less frequently. Always garaged since I bought the Jeep in 2009 when it had 83k miles - I am 3rd owner (2nd owner I believe was dealership, only owned it for 8K miles). Always used 93 octane gas and synthetic oil since I bought it. Runs perfectly and sounds awesome with a Flowmaster 50 muffler (deep V8 rumble, not too loud). Reason for selling is that I just bought a newer Grand Cherokee (my 3rd Jeep - these things go forever!) and now have 4 cars so this one must go. A 2003 stock Jeep GC Overland V8 has 265 horsepower - this Jeep is approximately 300 HP with K&N air intake and Flowmaster muffler (no other engine mods)
An Overland is the highest trim level of the Jeep GC - better than a Limited. Stock features of this Overland include automatic rain sensing wipers, automatic light sensing rear view mirror, heated front seats, adjustable brake/gas pedals, power driver and passenger seats, 10 disc CD changer, tow package and a slight increase in HP (265) vs the Limited. All options work.
Here are upgrades since I bought it:
- 4 new tires installed <5k miles ago (Continental all seasons)
- Flowmaster 50 muffler installed at 120k miles
- Slotted brake rotors and high performance ceramic pads at 130k miles
- Window rain guards (lexan)
- Bug shield on hood (lexan)
- Aftermarket headlights and tail lights
- Replaced all interior lights with LEDs (looks cool at night)
- 1 1/4 rear sway bar (significantly reduces body roll in turns)
- K&N air intake (3x price of cheap knock-off intake systems)
- Aries tube style running boards
- New radiator installed at 130k miles
- Blend door kit to fix Heat/A/C issue that always occurs on Jeep WJs (2001-2004)
- Differential fluids recently changed
Here are things to note about this Jeep and why it is affordably priced:
- Has rust above rear wheels on fenders (see pics)
- Small rust spot from dent on rear hatchgate (see pic)
- Rust on rocker panel below doors above running boards (no rust on doors)
- FM antenna not connected properly - weak signal (radio works fine and this is easy fix, I listen to CDs)
- Passenger side only blows cold air (likely needs fan blend door kit for passenger side - I already installed one for main vent so driver's side is fine)
- Drips 1-2 drops of oil per day from gasket on oil pan (has been doing this since I bought it in 2009 - hasn't bothered me enough to replace gasket)
- fog lights not working (need new bulbs)
Comes with 2 sets of keys with working key fobs. Runs perfectly, shifts smoothly and fires up immediately with a low growl. These Jeeps easily will go 300k miles... this one is just broken in and has more features than any you will find! No tire kickers please - cash preferred or cashier's check only.
