1983 JEEP RENEGADE, 258 cid six syl 2 barrel Carter carb. Single family owned. This was my brothers until he passed away I have spent the last three summers restoring this. Slate Blue metallic color, blue denim interior (Levis color). I have all the original books, Window sticker and meticulous records from date of purchase until present. It is rare to find a 1 owner Classic vehicle in this condition with complete recordsI have the original denim soft top, bikini top, half and full doors. I had an upholstery shop replace the plastic side and rear glass in the soft top to retain the original look of denim. I did not have them do the full doors. The denim color soft top is not made by any manufacturer anymore. Also have additional roll bar padding. The body and tub are all original paint.
This vehicle is from Arizona with no body rust. New carpet. New updated stereo JVC with am/fm/cd w/detachable face. B.F.Goodrich tires 32x11.5r15lt. I have rebuilt the Carter carburator. Replaced the fuel lines, fuel pump and steam cleaned the 20 gallon fuel tank. New belts. Replaced the rear axle spline (ratio 3.31/1) AMC 20. New breather lines for the trans/transfer case/rear axle. New front brakes. I started to replace the bushings with DayStar polyurethane bushings but have not finished, the remaining bushings will go with it if I don't complete them. I also have the oil pan gasket and a transfer case gasket set that will accompany the sale. If I can get them replaced prior to the sale I will. If not I will send them with it. The volt meter & amp meter are new from Crown Auto, but I can't seem to get them to operate. Also, the original dashboard control knobs are cracked I have replacements but they are billet aluminium. I like the original myself.
I have never sold a vehicle on Ebay so this is new to me, Ask as many questions as you wish. I will do my best to answer all your inquires. I would imagine not being able to kick the tires would be a hard sell for anyone. I have additional pictures if you want them.This is a good vehicle that is being sold AS IS. Shipping will be the buyers responsibility to arrange and pay for.
