Low miles, great condition 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, with just 70, 175 miles.
Amazingly, it has been a one family owned Jeep since new. It was my Grandfathers from New whom gave it to my father until he passed where it was handed down to us kids. It is originally from Texas then moved out to California where stored for past 6 years before I shipped it to Florida last month so I could ready it for sale. It has always been garage kept and has barely seen rain. No Rust Anywhere on it.
The mechanics; Newly rebuilt transmission and brand new cooling system, both installed less than 250 miles ago. Rebuilt carburetor, this month and new All Terrain tires installed today. There has been thousands invested… It runs and drives perfectly.
Other than the cooling system, headliner and one fog light, everything on it is original.
Everything is operational. That includes the air conditioning and heater, AM/FM/CD player, power seats, power windows, tailgate window (from both the dash and key locations), power door locks, overhead console lights, courtesy floor lights and cargo dome light, 4 wheel drive and electronic High & Low settings and basically everything else to include the rear tailgate wiper. (The electric side mirrors need a new control switch. They move in and out, not up and down.)
The handsome brown metallic paint does have faded areas on the hood and top (Even though it has been garage kept its entire life). I am thinking about having it painted but the price goes up considerably if I do. There are a few dings too but, very minor. See pictures.
Keep in mind of course this is a 30 +/- year old machine with technology that even back when was considered somewhat dated. However, they do not and have not made a Jeep (or and SUV) this solid ever. It is a tank with even the door handles built out of metal, real metal. This is a Jeep for the Jeep romantic. That is just a truth. I hate to get rid of it but I have another Jeep that I am doing a frame off restoration to and one is plenty (So says the wife). Blaaah
