| “Runs beautifully. Starts up immediately and purrs like a kitten. Has a couple of minor rust bubbles near passenger rear window (as shown in photo); the underside/frame and body are rust free. Fire Dept owned and garaged it previously. I also garaged it. Minor wear on interior and some tearing to way-back carpet. The FD disengaged the dome lights so they could leave their doors open. Back window switch was re-located by FD to the back (see picture). A scratch on the hood next to the Jeep hood ornament. Overall the FD paint job is still in very nice condition. The bright red, distinctive color is a head turner. Excellent tire tread (see pic). The AC does not work, but the wing windows give marvelous ventilation. Factory radio and speakers work great. Door panels are slightly bowed. We replaced the window seals inside and out. New factory two barrel carb. Vintage boat rack on top, very useful.” |
