1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ

Jeep Wrangler YJ (1992)
for sale

Price: US $3,200.00

Description:

This listing is for a 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ. It's a 4 cylinder with a 4 inch lift. This Jeep has just passed inspection as of 10/12/2015. Both rear axle bearings and seals were replaced to get it road-certified. The title is clean and in hand, no leans/loans. The inside of the car also has bed liner, so you can actually wash it down with a hose if it gets dirty. This car does have 4 wheel drive.
THIS VEHICLE HAS LEATHER SEATS, A HARD TOP, AND OVERSIZED OFF ROAD TIRES. IT IS A 4WD, 5 SPEED MANUAL, WITH A LIFT. THE TIRES ON IT ARE 33 INCHES.
Kelley Blue Book's value for this car in fair condition (lowest) without accounting for the lift is ~$3, 000. That price also does not include the half doors I would be including, which are original to the car.
Things I have to include: - Set of half doors, the ignition key works to unlock/lock these. One of the half doors is missing a mirror, but that's fairly cheap.*These doors are selling for over $400 on eBay even without the mirrors!*- I have a bracket for installing the soft windows on the half doors but will have to find it. There is also some sort of cloth top.- A few key for the ignition/locks. (The lock keys are different than the ignition keys for the full doors)- I have a full set of stock size tires with jeep rims on them. I would be willing to include these for some extra money. They will not be included in the base price. Mention whether you want these when making an offer/message, otherwise I will assume you are offering for it without the tires. If you offer extra for the extra set of tires with the jeep, you will have priority over someone who does not. Here is a link to my listing so you can see more pictures: here FM Radio that I haven't bothered installing as I do not drive this often.
Repairs done recently:- Rear Axle Seals + Bearings- Oil Gasket Cover replaced- Some Vacuum hoses repaired/replaced.- Both door locks on the full doors were replaced as we didn't have the key to them and the drivers side was broken. The passenger side lock is a little bit tough to turn but will lock. I recommend unlocking/locking from the inside as that is easier.- Tires balanced and rotated. They were not aligned due to the leaf spring on the right front tire being a bit bent. A new leaf spring of the same brand can be had for $100 shipped to your door, but I haven't felt the need to put one on as it's not dangerous, just a little more uncomfortable. However, the car does drive with it and is road legal, but it's not as smooth of a ride as it could be (not dangerous though) Here is a video showing what it looks like: here
Pros: - Has AC and radio hookups, which was an option for this year.- Oversized offroad tires with a lift, with matching sized spare.- Full and half doors included.- Hard top- Bedliner in the interior, no worry about getting carpet dirty.- Back bench seat installed- No mechanical issues known/diagnosed by a reputable mechanic shop. 2 different shops have looked at it and not seen anything.- Not entirely rough shape. I have listed it in fair condition because of the leaf spring and missing the radio/AC but it drives nicely.
Cons:- There is no radio installed and due to this there are exposed wires in the interior. These don't pose a danger, but they are there. I have an FM radio I can include with this, I haven't installed it yet.- Has AC Hookups but no compressor. Therefore you won't get any cold air if you turn the AC switch on. However, AC was optional for this year, so having the hookups is a plus.- Drivers side seat bends back a bit at the top, but does not make it impossible to sit in the seat or drive the car. - The bumper is bent as you can see in the picture. However, it is no where near touching the tires as the pictures might suggest. There is a lot of space in between them, you can see in picture 6 it isn't touching.- The maintenance required light is on, however I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever. I was told to get the light reset that you needed to take it to a jeep dealer.- The leather seats are a bit torn, but that's expected with a car this old. - Backlight for gauges does not turn on, but is not a problem in the daylight. Can be a little difficult to see at night.
This jeep has 4 wheel drive and runs pretty well. I bought this as a secondary car but I've driven it for 2 weeks straight and encountered no issues whatsoever. We took it in our very hilly backyard when it was wet/muddy and had no problems when it was in 4 Wheel Drive.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I do want to get rid of this but will not take a super lowball offer. Keep in mind, if you account for everything on the car, assuming it's in fair condition, I'm asking a fair price and that doesn't even include the half doors.
Price is $3, 200 OBO. The half doors will be included, as will an FM radio that has yet to be installed. I have an extra set of stock size tires (which could be put on if needed) which I can include for a bit extra. They are fairly new, lots of tread left. Includes 4 tires w/ Jeep rims + spare.
I am really not interested in trades right now. I would just like to sell it.
You can message me if you have any questions.
