1988 Lamborghini Contach Replica STARTING BID LOWERED! I am selling my 88 Lamborghini Contach Replica built on an 1987 Fiero donor car. This car is 97% done! Beautiful paint job! It has a few flaws but overall SPACTACULAR!! I bought it 4 years ago as an investment and a retirement car for myself after serving 30 years in the Army. It has a clear Virginia title and is titled as a 87 Pontiac Fiero. I was going to have it changed over to special after I finished the upgrades I had planned for it but alas, that will be up to the new owner. The car is beautifully built. It has the Fiero 4 cylinder engine and 5 spd manual transmission but I have another 6 cylinder with wire harness and computer that I was going to install but then I couldn't decide on whether I wanted to put a 3800 SCC or the LSI engine in it. I have the manuals to do the change and have a Fiero Jedi friend of mine that was going to provide me with the adult supervision but he's in the Navy and was often unavailable so it just sat covered in my back garage until this past weekend. It had been sitting for about 2 years covered because I couldn't figure out why it was running so rough and I didn't have the time or energy to put into it. My neighbor who is a mechanic came by this weekend and found a bad plug wire. He just re-seated it and I've been driving the car everyday since. It drives like a go-cart. You can drive it away but I don't recommend you driving it on a long trip without it being thoroughly checked out. The A/C did work but does not work now. It could be something very simple but I'm not doing anything else to it. The longer I keep it, the less I want to sell it. Here are a few of the upgrades that I started. PRO's -New brake calipers painted red ceramic w/ cross drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads all around. - New stainless steel braided and nylon coated brake lines - Tuned up last year with new NGK plugs and wires - I have (2) hydraulic rams to operate the Lambo doors remotely along with (2)additional door poppers and all wiring harnesses. They were never installed. The doors don't stay in the up position on their own. - I'm throwing in my Lamborghini replica watch and key fob, that I received while on deployment in Kuwait! - I'm throwing in the 6 cylinder Fiero engine - I also have a touch screen DVD/CD w/ back up camera new in the box (not included in the sale price but we can negotiate that) Work to be done- - A/C recharged and gone through - exhaust is rusted and will need to be replaced. I didn't do it because the engine swap would've required new exhaust system - The gears in the headlight buckets have deteriorated and don't come up but the motors are working and have new Xeon white/blue bulbs - Recommend engine swap but not truly NEEDED. I would if I were going to keep it. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>NOTICE UPDATE!!!!!!!!
